Came to stay here Oct 25 for our 3 year anniversary never been to the peak distric before and wow it didnt disappoint what an amazingly beautiful part of the world and to top it off was this absolute gem lovely little hut with all the amenities you can think of and some extra comforts very warm on a cold night and with a personalised touch of wine and cake on arriving couldn't have asked for more! Will definitely be coming here again plenty more walks to be had around this beautiful place.....pub and locals fantastic too!!

Thankyou to the most welcoming hosts Ian and Angela. The elderflower wine and chocolates went down perfectly whilst relaxing in the hut.
The views from the Hut are incredible especially with the sunny weather that we had.
The maps supplied facilitated some incredible walks including Mam Tor and Three Shires Head which had the best scenic views for photos and memories of the Peak District.#

We enjoyed a pint of lager at Wincle Brewery a stones throw and a bit from The Hut
We finished our evenings at local pubs including Sutton Hall and The Church House both of which we recommend.
Overall, we love this place and will certainly visit again in the future.

Beautiful! So many nice and thoughtful touches. Fantastic location, what a view. Lovely walks around and about. Angela welcomed us every morning with a cheery wave. We did the brewery tour – very interesting and well worth a visit. The ship Inn is very relaxed and friendly with lovely food. We will definitely be back.

Such a beautiful location, been very nice and relaxing just what we both needed. (2nd. honeymoon with no children ) The Shepherd's hut is amazing and so beautiful every little touch makes it perfect. Angela and Ian were very friendly and recommended places to go. Thank you so much for our lovely stay and we hope to come back next year.

Angela and Ian have thought of everything which really made our stay that much more fabulous. The firepit is a stunning addition making our stay warmer and a little bit more exciting. We had a lovely stay at the Shepherd's hut. Such a beautiful location and so relaxing! The Summer house was lovely for watching the sun go down and seeing the stars come out. The Ship Inn do really lovely food and even have a good offering for vegans!. Love how the Shepherd's Hut is decorated and the thoughtful welcoming touches. One night wasn't enough. We will be back.

Wow! Absolutely loved it here. A brilliant set up where all the little touches make such a difference. Can't wait to come back.

The hut and it's surroundings have felt like a fairytale. Everything that we needed was here. Ian and Angela are an absolute joy and provided wood and firelighters for the BBQ – and to top it all off some tomatoes fresh from the greenhouse. We will be raving about this place to our friends.
